County Projects of Impact Recognition
Please help us recognize outstanding county government projects and the leadership and staff who engage in positive action to improve their local area.
Project/Program Criteria
Programs should meet at least one of the following standards:
- It offers a new service to county residents or fills a gap in service.
- It improves the daily lives of county residents.
- It creates or improves upon revenue sources.
- It meaningfully improves upon the administration of an existing program.
- It upgrades the education or working conditions of county employees.
- It enhances the satisfaction of residents through increased participation, engagement, or education of county services.
- It promotes cooperation and coordination with other governments, businesses, or organizations to address a shared problem.
Eligibility Requirements:
- The program/project must start after January 1, 2022, and must have some measurable results. Though the project does not have to be in its final completion stage, it should be in use or accessible to the intended audience.
- County officials or staff must have played a significant role in creating and implementing the program.
- Nomination applications must be completed between April 1, 2025, and September 30, 2025.
When Will the Awards Be Announced?
The Projects of Impact awards will be determined in November and announced later that November at the County Leaders Conference Awards Luncheon.
